Next Steps Ministry

Take a Step Forward

Everyone has a next step, and you do not have to take it alone. Next Steps Ministry offers welcoming, practical courses where people can build useful skills, grow in confidence, and move forward with encouragement.

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Come as you are, learn alongside others, and take practical steps toward greater stability and lasting change.

Next Step: Money

Our current course, Next Step: Money, helps people develop practical money-management skills in a supportive, Christ-centered setting.

Next Step: Money uses the Chalmers Center’s Faith & Finances curriculum and is led by trained, Chalmers-certified facilitators. The course connects practical financial instruction with supportive relationships, helping participants consider their goals, habits, challenges, and next steps.

Topics may include:

  • Understanding your relationship with money
  • Setting personal financial goals
  • Developing a workable spending plan
  • Managing income and expenses
  • Addressing debt and financial challenges
  • Saving for future needs
  • Building healthier financial habits
  • Finding encouragement and accountability

No matter where you are starting, Next Step: Money offers a respectful place to learn, ask questions, and move forward.

Interested in Participating?

If you would like to learn more about Next Step: Money or a future Next Steps Ministry course, complete our brief connection form. Chad Brightbill will follow up with information about course availability and help you consider whether the opportunity is right for you. Completing the form does not commit you to participating in a course.

Help Someone Take a Next Step

Next Steps Ministry also creates opportunities for churches, volunteers, community organizations, donors, and other supporters to walk alongside people as they pursue meaningful change. You may be able to help by:
  • Referring someone who could benefit from a course
  • Serving as a trained facilitator or volunteer
  • Encouraging participants during the course
  • Providing meals, childcare, transportation assistance, or participant incentives
  • Offering financial support for course expenses
  • Helping us identify and develop future course opportunities
As additional trained leaders and resources become available, we hope to expand Next Steps Ministry with other practical, relationship-centered courses that respond to needs within our community. Whether you want to participate, refer someone, volunteer, or help make a course possible, we would welcome a conversation with you.

Your connection form will be sent to Chad Brightbill, who will follow up with you personally.
