About Love INC of Lancaster County

Connecting Churches, People, and Community Resources

For more than three decades, Love INC of Lancaster County has helped churches respond to the practical needs of neighbors throughout our community. Today, nearly 100 Lancaster County churches are connected with this shared mission.

Through Love INC of Lancaster County, we function as “Connection Central” bringing churches, volunteers, donors, and community resources alongside neighbors facing practical needs. Together, we listen, respond, and build Christ-centered relationships that help people move toward stability, dignity, and lasting change.

Our work is rooted in a simple conviction: meaningful change happens through relationships. We do more than identify needs and resources. We help create connections through which people can listen, serve, encourage, learn, and move forward together.

Our Mission

To mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.

Our Vision

Christ transforming lives and communities.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
—1 Peter 4:10

Three Ways to Connect

When practical needs arise, the Connection Center offers a place to begin. We listen, learn about each situation, and help identify a meaningful next step—whether through a local church, a caring volunteer, prayer, or another community resource.

THE PROJECT and THE MEAL create practical, one-time ways for churches, families, volunteers, and community supporters to serve neighbors together. These shared experiences help meet immediate needs while opening the door to meaningful relationships.

Next Steps Ministry offers welcoming, practical courses where people can build useful skills, grow in confidence, and move forward with encouragement. Our current course, Next Step: Money, uses the Chalmers Center’s Faith & Finances curriculum to provide practical financial instruction in a supportive, Christ-centered setting.

Understanding the Love INC Model

This short video explains the Love INC model of helping churches help people. It describes the church-centered, relational approach that has guided our ministry and shaped our service throughout Lancaster County.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, And is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
