Your church is a part of setting the date! Love INC is banding churches together by school district and setting dates. Each group of participating churches will select a week that best suits to serve. All Compassion Projects will take place during summer months
Churches serve neighbors in ways that relationships can begin! A Compassion Project is like a mission trip to your own neighborhood. Each week of service is promoted locally. Neighbors ask for support around the home/yard with simple projects. Some churches serve all week. Others serve a couple of days or on a weekend. It’s flexible!
It’s scalable – one church can do it and groups of churches will do it! Manheim Central, Ephrata Area, Warwick, and Conestoga Valley currently have interested churches. Individually interested churches can participate alone if no other churches from your school district participate. Chairperson, Nate Minnich, can guide you.
Compassion Projects can happen during Covid-19! Manheim Central successfully completed a Compassion Project in 2020 using Covid-19 precautions. Again in 2021, we can adjust as necessary taking into account any current restrictions.
Love INC is prepared to give you more information and support! Please express your interest to Nate Minnich. He can discuss questions and more information regarding Compassion Projects. Your church will need to commit to participating by a specific date.
